Sr Director, Software EngineeringSalt Lake City, UTDirect HireSalary Target: $150K - $160K + Bonus

Job Description:Our client is in the financial services space. They have a small 6person software development team and with 2021 being their best year ever, they are looking to grow and would like to hire a Sr. Director of Software Engineering to lead the Software Engineering team, grow, and assist in modernizing their technologies. This person will report to the VP of Technology and lead the Software Engineering Manager + 5 other engineers.

Required Skills:

5+ years in a Software Development leadership role
7+ years of Software Development experience (C#/.NET Stack preferred)
Experience with build proprietary software products for internal business applications
Experience in the Financial Services space
Hands-on experience in a multitude of domains; including agile development, business analysis, software engineering, database design, enterprise software architecture, technology leadership, and software quality assurance

Bonus/Soft Skills:

Payment Processing, Back Office Systems, and/or Business Process Re-Engineering or Development
Experience with the Financial Lending space
Experience with Financial Lending Business Applications
Scrum/Agile
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
