The Propulsion Subsystem Support Contract assists the Government in sustaining engineering, modification of systems and equipment, hardware and software maintenance, developmental and production engineering, procurement, replenishment, repair, and refurbishment of Propulsion Subsystem components and related support equipment to the Minuteman III weapon system. The MMIII is a mature weapon system in the Operations and Support Phase of its life cycle. The operational force shall be sustained in a state of readiness such that national defense strategies involving these systems can be successfully executed.

We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Professional to ensure all PSSC DoD information systems maintain an appropriate level of confidentiality, integrity, authentication, nonrepudiation, and availability that reflect a balance among the importance and sensitivity of the information and information assets IAW Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 8500.01.

This position will be located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah and will be 75% telecommuting.

Information Systems Security Professional shall perform all applicable system security tasks IAW Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 8500.01, required to obtain and maintain initial and interim accreditations, including Authorization to Operate (ATO), ATO with Conditions, Interim Authorization to Test (IATT), Authorizations to Connect (ATC), certificate of net worthiness, Joint Interoperability Test Center (JITC) certification, and security test and evaluation (STE).

The Information Systems Security Professional shall conduct system accreditation with the Defense Security Service (DSS) IAW the DoD 5220.22-M and Supplement 1, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). The Information Systems Security Professional shall conduct Government-owned system security accreditation, documentation development, and testing based on DoDI 8510.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology (IT) and DoDI 8500.01.

The Information Systems Security Professional in coordination with Cybersecurity certified personnel, must support System Security Working Groups (SSWG), Engineering Review Boards (ERB), Deficiency Review Boards (DRB), Risk Management Boards (RMB), and other meetings on an as needed basis or as determined by the Government. The Contractor shall evaluate change proposals dictated by the Government, e.g., Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), task change proposals (TCP), configuration change proposals (CCP), waivers, and deviations.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Master's degree with 3 years of experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience; OR an Associates degree with 7 years of experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED with 9 years of experience is required.
  • Must have a DoD 8570 IAM level II (or higher) security certification (examples: CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or Security+ CE); OR must have the ability to obtain the certification within 6 months of start date.
  • Candidates must have a current DOD Secret security clearance (at a minimum) to include a closed investigation date completed within the last 6 years OR must be enrolled in the DOD Continuous Evaluation Program (CEP), in order to be considered.
  • Must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as condition of continued employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, a CASP CE, and 4 years of experience with Certification and Accreditation of classified systems and Risk Management Framework.
  • Experience with eMASS, DCSA requirements, and RMF accreditation package development preferred.
  • Knowledge of NESSUS, NIST 800-53rev4, system audits using an SIEM, vulnerability scanning, and system audits, POA&Ms.
  • Current Secret with SAP/SAR access level is highly desirable.

Salary Range: $90,400 USD - $135,600 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
