As an electrical engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems and can identify faulty design and possible shortcomings. That knowledge is key when it comes to analyzing and evaluating critical systems designs to ensure they perform safely and reliably.

Our team works with the client to ensure systems designs meet U.S. Air Force and DoD requirements for nuclear certification. That's why we need you, an electrical engineer, to help us ensure design and development of weapons systems. We'll look to you to share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff. You Have:
  • Experience with digital and power electronics
  • Experience with circuit analysis and troubleshooting
  • Experience in performing stress, thermal, fastener, or tolerance analysis using manual hand calculations
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with missile and weapons systems
  • Knowledge of nuclear certification, Air Force Instructions and Manuals
  • Ability to work as an individual, as well as in a team environment
  • Top Secret Clearance
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
