Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer to join our IT Operations group. You will develop automated solutions for operational tasks such as monitoring, performance, and capacity planning. You will work closely with our development teams to architect continuous delivery and infrastructure automation. You will be joining our company at a pivotal time as we leverage next generation software and hardware platforms to automate delivery of our services within our private and public cloud presence. Job Responsibilities / Required ExperienceCloud technologies / Hybrid infrastructure- Building scalable, distributed systems with service-oriented architectures
- Creating and managing infrastructure that is secure, scalable and highly available on AWS, and on-prem
- Employ AWS cloud security tools to maintain a secure and scalable environment
- Utilizing CloudFormation to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) within AWS
- Bring awareness to cost optimizations and efficiencies and how to best leverage cloud services
- Understanding the concepts behind load balancing, reverse proxies, request routing, using technologies such as AWS ALB/ELB, Citrix NetScaler, Nginx, F5, Apache.
- Configuring and managing a mixed-platform environment with both Linux and Windows systems.
- Utilizing EKS/Kubernetes/Docker containerization and working with development teams to design and implement automated environment provisioning and container solutions
- Server automation/configuration management using tools such as Chef, Puppet, Salt, and Ansible
- Automated scripting with tools such as Python, Bash, Ruby, PowerShell, etc. for the automation of day-to-day tasks and creating self-healing/auto remediation scripts
- Seamless automation of promoting test and dev environments to production
- Operations
- Working with Development teams to Implement DevOps principles and methodology and implement CI/CD
- Monitoring application performance and server health with tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, Nagios, SolarWinds, and Splunk.
- Occasional participation in an On-call rotation to ensure applications are reliable and available
- Developing and maintaining documentation on infrastructure, systems, and disaster recovery methodology.
