Sr. DevOps EngineerSalt Lake City, UTDirect Hire: $130K - $165KJob Description:Our client is looking for a passionate Sr. DevOps Engineer to join their team. This role is crucial to their organization as you will be supporting the delivery of cutting-edge security technologies to enterprise customers across the globe. You will also be responsible to assist in DevOps training across all departments. As the SME for the DevOps team, you are responsible for leading the build of tools to advance the information security field. It is also crucial for you to know how to manage and implement Kubernetes within their microservices architecture. An ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, fast-growing organization and someone who is eager to create services that currently don't exist in the Cyber Security space.Required Skills:- 3- 5 years experience in a DevOps role
- 1-2 years of leadership experience
- 3-5 years experience managing CI/CD pipelines using a variety of tools
- Jenkins, GitLab, AS Developer Tools, etc.
- Docker/Kubernetes orchestration to host microservices within an application
- Code repository management, mode merge, and automated deployment
- Scripting experience (Python, Bash, JavaScript)
- Deep knowledge of AWS or GCP or both
- Cloud security principles (AWS WAF)
- Bachelor's degree in CS, IT or equivalent work experience
- SaaS deployments in AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
- Experience building dashboards in Datadog
- Experience building security software
- Relational database architecture
- Strong understanding of network protocols
- Hold any of the following certifications:
- AWS Cloud Practitioner
- AWS SysOps Admin
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Google Associate Cloud Engineer
- Google Professional Cloud Architect
