Job Description
MX is looking to add a Director of Finance to its team. You will oversee all budgeting, planning and financial analysis, support investor and board relations, contribute to financial reporting, and partner with and empower management throughout the company with transparency for strategic decisioning and operational improvements.
You’ll get to
Hire, train and develop finance team to meet company financial analysis needs
Design, deploy, manage and improve budgeting and planning policies, procedures, and reporting, driving sound use of company resources towards optimal growth for the company
Contribute strategically to the efficiency of the business through managing and improving efficiency ratios, unit economics, product development and customer acquisition costs, and cost of capital
Oversee day to day capital management for the Company, including investor and board relations, capital allocation and investment, predictable cash-flow management
Design and oversee maintenance and improvements of financial analysis tools and systems, including driving automation of routine finance functions
You’ll do it by using your
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or related discipline
7+ years experience managing corporate financial planning, budgeting and analysis for a publicly traded B2B SaaS company with more than $200 million in annual revenues
Demonstrated ability to hire, train and develop team members in finance
Experience preparing presentations and communications to investors and board members, including pivotal involvement in raising private equity capital
Ability to distill complex information into easily consumable reports, statements and communications that provides insights, enabling quick decision making
Expertise in financial planning systems, accounting, MS Excel, Google Sheets, and MS PowerPoint, experience using of BI solutions a plus
Bias towards process and automation
Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholder expectations, timelines, and deliverables
Strong business analysis acumen and a deep understanding of business operations, OKRs
