Job Description
Principal JavaScript Engineer Salt Lake City, UT Direct Hire Rate: $120k-$155k Job Description: The candidate will be working for a large company leading out on continued projects developing with JavaScript technologies (Node.js, React.js, Vue.js, etc.) as well as supporting new project initiatives. The candidate must have a high level of intelligence and development experience. They must also have a passion for technology as well as a strong desire to learn and be a part of cutting-edge technology. The client puts culture above all else and wants a team member that is excited to work with a highly collaborative and forward thinking group. Required Skills:- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of stand-alone JavaScript experience (not browser based JavaScript)
- Expert coding experience with Vue.js and/or React.js
- Expert coding experience with Node.js
- Experience working with DevOps tools and best practices
- Experience working in a CI/CD environment
- Experience coding to Docker containers
- Experience with Cloud technologies such as AWS and Heroku
- Proficiency in designing, building and consuming RESTful services
- Solid understanding of and experience with TDD (Test Driven Development)
- Proficiency with GIT
- Ability to contribute as a Full Stack developer
- Experience as Team Lead by title or function
- Database experience
- Outstanding business communication skills
