Lotus Park Senior Living is seeking an enthusiastic, trustworthy, dedicated Live-In Caregiver to stay at our community to care for our Independant residents!
Live on site with our residents and be responsible for responding to residents’ physical, emotional, and environmental needs. You will have your own room and bathroom in one of our buildings with 8-10 residents.
Responsibilities
Groom residents as needed or assigned; including bathing/showering, shaving, dressing, oral care, and other ADL’s
Help residents with transfers and ambulation as needed
Provide residents with meal reminders and escorts if needed
Support the cognitive, medical, physical/functional, social, and emotional needs of each resident
Treat each resident with respect and dignity
On call on premises for emergencies or assistance (available 24 hours/day)
The employee must frequently lift or move objects and patients weighing up to 40 pounds.
Qualifications
Must have the ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families, and to work cooperatively with other employees.
Must maintain regular attendance.
Must meet all local health regulations and pass post-employment physical exam if required. This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry.
