The customer locations would include Columbus, OH; Maxwell AFB, AL; and Tinker AFB, OK. This position will focus on Engineering and design while also supporting Tier 4 network escalations within a customers environment.
Requirements:- Design new implementations of the Network stack, and after Information Assurance review, coordinate the installation of them with the DevOps Engineer, Enterprise Operations, and relevant stakeholders
- Strong technical expertise in Data Center and Enterprise Routing and Switching is required
- In-depth knowledge of designing multi-vendor complex Routing and Switching networks
- Ability to troubleshoot large enterprise networks
- Experience in consulting, leading and driving network designs
- Ability to explain technical concepts, give clients guidance and vision about the solution
- Experience with network topology modeling analysis
- Forward thinking with technology solutions like automation and SD-WAN / SD-DC
- Perform detailed market research, develop Bills of Materials for Government consumption Ability to work independently, self-starter required
- Strong proven Experience working with network security devices (IPS/IDS, Firewalls, Load balancers) and Encryption devices
- Proven experience working with Network Management and Analysis tools
- Experience working with cloud networking
- Perform risk analysis of each new infrastructure design, and inform all stakeholders of the applicable risks
- Provide technical input on the Networking needs of all software and hardware used in the customers environment, which includes multi-vendor solutions.
- Provide secure, reliable, and high performing configurations of the Network environments
- Document Network architecture, including network port connectivity, and design choices of the associated applications (Low Level Design, High Level Design)
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to other network Engineers within the team
- Secret Security clearance
- 8+ years minimum experience in Network Engineering
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field
- DOD 8570 IAT LVL II Required
- Vendor Professional or higher level network certification
- Experience with Data Center, VOIP, network and security engineering and design
- Experience with network and security automation preferred.
- Other industry product experience and certifications preferred.
