Job Description
SummaryAs the Skier Services Supervisor, you’ll work to help provide an unforgettable winter vacation for our guests. With excellent organization and interpersonal skills, you’ll build strong team morale in the Skier Services Department. Given your passion for winter sports, you’ll provide guests with recommendations and advice about the mountain to enhance their experience.
Job Duties- Responsible for training Skier Services Agents
- Resolve minor problems guests may have and notify the Skier Services Manager about any major complaints
- Responsible for assuring a smooth check-in and checkout of ski equipment
- Coordinate with and support staff in their daily duties
- Speak with guests about mountain conditions and give recommendations
- Oversee the final product of the schedule
- Interact between departments to ensure accurate resort information is communicated between departments
- Oversee the advising, coaching, disciplinary actions of team members
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications
Requirements/Qualifications:- Must provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to start of employment
- Previous experience working with and leading a diverse team
- Previous experience working in a resort or ski industry environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work weekends & holidays
- Ability to lift upwards of 50 pounds, handle ski equipment
- Ability to work in a cold, outdoor environment
