Our client has the world's best labor market data available to professionals in higher education, economic development, workforce investment, talent acquisition, and site selection.

They are looking for a skilled software engineer to work on the Classifiers & Extractors team. This team builds and maintains high-performance text extraction and classification libraries used to analyze job postings, resumes, and similar documents. In addition to the machine learning solutions, this team also produces the internal tooling and data pipelines to support teams of taxonomists and curators working to continuously improve our client's classifications and libraries.

Position Requirements:

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate has significant experience working in high-performance systems languages such as C, and familiarity with machine learning techniques and Natural Language Processing. They also have experience mentoring junior developers or leading teams.

Proficient in the C programming language or similar (D, C).Working knowledge of Python.Knowledge of machine learning techniques and NLP.Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures.Systems programming on Linux, including working knowledge of virtual memory, optimizing for cache line performance, and using the perf toolkit.Experience working in a high-performance production environment.Fluent English, written and spoken.Git version control.Debugging with GDB.AWS S3, EC2, Athena.
