Mechanical Engineer sought by Vanderhall Motor Works Inc. in Provo, UT.
Job Duties:
Provide mechanical design expertise to support development of new mechanical items or improve existing ones; Reduce costs and improve design and development process; Prepare designs using SolidWorks; Output 2D engineering drawings and bill of materials for large scale production; Generate conceptual 3D models and drawings for new solutions; Interface with suppliers for production of vehicle components and sub-assemblies, and work with suppliers on quality issues of said components; Perform design of tooling and create tooling drawings to inspect suppliers' production; Work with manufacturing team to ensure all design requirements are met.
Job Requirements: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Special Requirements: Proficiency in SolidWorks.
