Intern Software Engineer in Test & Cyber Security
Job Description:Responsibilities:- Setup and configure IAM products.
- W ork with the product security champion to run security tools against software products and provide feedback to the development team.
- Execute manual and automated test cases.
- Write automated tests (unit, component, integration, end-to-end).
- Evaluate the quality of an individual product component.
- Setup and configure your product in a lab using VMware, Rancher, Kubernetes, etc.
- Setup and maintain automation environments.
- Enrolled in a college or university working towards degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or other technical field.
- Basic programming skills in Python, Java and scripting languages.
- Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows administration.
- PC architecture knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
- Familiar with networking equipment including: switches, routers, cabling, etc.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Ability to work independently as well as on an agile team.
- Ability to take direction and complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- High level of initiative and self-motivation.
- Experience automating UI with frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright.
- Experience automating Service API layer.
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Threat Modeling
- Use of security analysis tools such as Nmap, Nessus, Fortify, Burb Suite or OWASP.
- Security Certifications such as CSSLP or CISSP.
- Full and part time intern position depending on school schedule.
