IT Onboarding Specialist

The Role: We are looking for an IT On boarding Specialist to come and join the team! You will be an integral part of helping new hires with getting comfortable in Micro Focus and using our systems. You will be on-boarding, managing changes and off-boarding employees in the organisation. Reporting directly into the Team Manager and working collaboratively with Onboarding team and Service Desk to provide a first-class new hire experience. You will be engaging with new hires providing IT support and guiding them through the onboarding process and will be responsible for conducting off boarding checks for leavers ensuring compliance at all times. In this role you will need to adhere to team SLA's and will be responsible for processing high volumes candidate tasks. You will need to understand basic computer functionality and beginner's understanding of the company's services. How could you help us do this?- Act as primary contact for new hires
- Deliver excellent communication with all stakeholders
- Monitor supplier progress and maintain reporting systems with updates on supplier progress
- Support suppliers by responding to queries and providing guidance on next steps
- Identify and report issues within the customer experience
- Apply best-practice User Experience/Customer Experience/User Research and training methodologies
- Participate as a member of an IT technical team. Perform basic analysis of functional or service requirements.
- Implement end-user or enterprise infrastructure or services as prepared by more senior engineers.
- Provide end user and routine or basic support of enterprise platforms and services.
- Monitor the environment and resolve issues utilizing available knowledge reference documentation.
- Monitor production schedules and ensures production jobs complete successfully without issues.
- Ensure complete and timely hand-off of incidents to other support teams as appropriate.
- Assist with enterprise-wide system maintenance and change implementation.
- Excellent customer services and communication skills.
- Understanding and working knowledge of infrastructure environments (e.g. operating system, security, network, voice, end user and server related applications).
- Understanding and working knowledge of business IT applications (e.g. Office 365).
- Experience with monitoring and reacting to system events and end user-business requests.
- Knowledge and experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) reference model.
- Good initiative, problem solving, priority setting, and collaboration skills.
- IT Service Desk related experience is advantageous but not necessary.
