Job Description
The Life Enrichment Coordinator plans and coordinates a variety of programs to provide a vibrant and engaging life for our enhanced care resident unit. Enhanced care residents are those with cognitive challenges who need a little extra support in their day to day lives. The Life Enrichment program brings meaning and purpose formany of these residents.Duties and responsibilities:
- Determine residentprogram preferences, talents, and needs through resident feedback, new resident orientation, and communication with resident families.
- Plan daily and weekly programsto engage residentsto meet their social, physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
- Assist in planning programs and eventsthat encourage prospective residents to participate in community life and see the value and benefit our community can offer them.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of activity programming experience.
- 1+ years of leadership experience, in senior living preferred.
- A love for seniors!
- Highly organized and great time management skills
- Energetic, engaging, and caring personality
- Ability to connect with people
