Again, NO EXPERIENCE necessarybut the experience will be amazing. Past interns from this same consultant now have their own ad and PR agencies, work for Bain & Associates, are over marketing at Red Hat, have launched #1 best-selling products, work at Cisco, Symantec, Apple, Motorola, Dell, etc. This is one of the most comprehensive, fast paced but exciting chances to learn and do real marketing and it has helped launch entire careers.

You will work side by side with company consultant to setup and execute everything (and will receive samples, templates, examples, help, coaching and review for everything). Some of the work is boring (like with every job), but MOST is notvery roll up your sleeves and get it done type of work that drives the brand preference and spikes sales.

Knowledge & Skills

A high degree of organization and self-motivation and marketing PASSION is required. This person must quickly learn the company products and services, the market and contribute. Must be assertive to get what you need to accomplish projects.

Prefer a responsible Junior-Senior in college working on a degree with an emphasis in marketing, PR, business, communications, journalism, or maybe even HR preferred since this will be applicable experience, or an MBA candidate that wants real experience (but must be very teachable (will learn a LOT of new concepts fastand then execute)).

A new graduate is an option but this role is only part-time to start and MUST, MUST, MUST commit to a minimum of 3 months of work (don't want to train and have you leave too soon).

15-20 hours/week. Regular working hours”but can be flexible for tests, etc.

Pay

- $15.00/hour. Not a lot of money, but the experience is priceless.

Testimonials (from interns who have worked with the company consultant):

"He was a great teacher, very patient and wise. I learned so much about the internet world of marketing from himI would work with him again, anytime!" Danielle (intern) - now has own SEO marketing company

"If you are an intern that is lucky enough to be considered as a candidate for an internship with Ted, fight to get it and be ready to learn a LOT. He is the best manager I have worked with so far because he is not only great at finding talent but he is really great at actually teaching you his methods. He is very patient, extremely knowledgeable, and delegates tasks confidently." Susanna (intern) - now a Product Manager at Cisco.

"Working with Ted has been a great experience. His process allows you to get involved in several aspects of marketing, and you have real ownership of your projects. It's been a great learning experience, which is, as we all know, not always the case with some internships." Yolande - hired by her company as a Marketing Manager while their Intern.

(Yolande did the competitive analysis, product positioning, all presentation material, re-wrote all the web copy, set up the first trade show and managed it, wrote all the collateral, found and managed the graphic designer, wrote the first and multiple press releases, set up the analyst meetings, created the company database, setup marketing automation, helped train the new partners, created the first editorial calendar, the product reviewer's guide, launched the first webinars and the list goes on (all WHILE an intern). The company went from #78 to the #1 best-selling product in the world in its category with her help. She is now the Director of Marketing.
