That's high tech without the drama. www.microfocus.com About the Role: Marketing Communications Leader CyberRes, a Micro Focus line of business, is actively seeking a M arketing Communications Leader to lead a team focused on how we tell our story (brand, communications, media, analyst relations, creative, etc.) Reporting to the Global Head of Marketing, this role will ensure a consistent story (both written and visual) reaches our target audiences.Cybersecurity continues to be one of the fastest growing markets today and requires high-energy and a willingness to take risks and move as fast as the market requires.Responsibilities:- Lead a team responsible for telling our story.
- Extend our brand strategy and reach through agile and creative paths with a priority on moving fast.
- Own our brand positioning and messaging.
- Grow the team through hiring and training.
- Provide strategic guidance on identifying and engaging with media, analysts, and influences.
- Oversee our customer loyalty activities including peer reviews, case studies, newsletters, and user group/community.
- Be responsible for all CyberRes web/digital properties.
- 10+ years experience working in MarCom / Digital Marketing / similar marketing function.
- Cyber Security experience a PLUS
- BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
- Leadership experience with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with demonstrated stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage large quantities of work orders and requests coming from the marketing organization and be able to prioritize while fostering confidence and predictable delivery.
- You must be analytical and able to use data to improve overall processes and manage budget expectations accordingly.
- Preference for working in a strategic thinking and fast paced environment with changing workloads.
- Create a positive, fun, team-oriented, hardworking, and balanced environment.
- Candidate will value regional differences and have a sensitivity to the diverse cultures that exists.
