We are looking for a Building Maintenance Technician to maintain the facilities in our real estate portfolio, including our signature property, High Line Square, a 67-unit, seven-story apartment building in Provo. We are committed to creating a welcoming and friendly environment with a well-kept property. Responsibilities:Receive, respond to, and ensure the completion of service requests for maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems and any other part of the property.Perform minor repairs, including Carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing fixesTouch up and finish paintingFixing broken locks, damage to wallsCoordinate with outside contractors to when necessary

Proactively maintain the property, including Maintaining fire, carbon monoxide, smoke, and other safety systemsClearing snow from entrances and walkwaysReplacing light bulbs, replenishing restroom supplies, emptying wastebasketsFollow manufacturer recommendations for maintaining major appliances and provide repairs when necessary Work collaboratively with the rest of the property management team to provide world-class service to our tenants.About you

You are a professional that will take ownership of a wide range of activities and proactively look for ways to improve our projects and help our tenants to feel comfortable and happy. In addition to diligently following up with each service request, you will take the initiative and help anticipate problems before they occur. You have an eye for detail, and can handle physically demanding work, occasionally in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow. You thrive when you given autonomy to complete your work with little supervision. RequirementsHigh school diploma/GED requiredBasic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systemsExperience working with tools, including hand and electrical toolsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to read and utilize technical manuals and drawingsMust have the ability to climb heights, lift up to 60 lbs. and climb onto laddersBuilding maintenance experience preferred, but not required.
