Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services is seeking an IT Operations Lead; this position will be located in Roy, UT. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
  • Act as command center leader for critical events and outages.
  • Act as the primary point of communication between Sector PMO and operational service areas and managers to address operational escalations and service delivery execution.
  • Coordinate the activities of service area managers and staff in cross-organizational and cross-functional team for complex technical problems using program incident management, change management, and problem management processes.
  • Ensure issues are resolved by Engineering/Operations and lead operational Red Teams.
  • Serve as the IT point of contact in the absence of the Sr. Manager of Enterprise Services and Operations and as a backup to service area managers, as required.
  • Review high priority change management requests as delegated.
  • Govern IT infrastructure processes within the Enterprise Services and Operations area daily to ensure their compliance with agreed up procedures and work instructions.
  • Drive service ticket escalations.
  • Provide cost effective and timely delivery of high-quality IT services and products to Enterprise Services customers.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree with 5 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience, or Master's degree with 0 years of experience; a High School diploma or equivalent with 3 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance required on Day 1; maintaining the required security clearance will be a condition of continued employment.
  • The ability to obtain a Special Access Programs (SAP/SAR) clearance within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company, and also by program and/or customer requirements; maintaining SAP clearance will be a condition of continued employment.
  • The ability to drive results across a matrixed organization.
  • Prior experience in System servers, directory services and messaging platforms, workstation hardware and software service platforms, storage and backup infrastructure (hardware and software), and network and host-based security and associated management systems.
  • Familiarity with tools and approaches for IT Service Management and monitoring best practices (SolarWinds, ServiceNow).
  • Leadership experience with the ability to drive results across a matrixed organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SAFe Agile practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with event and outage management.
  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
  • Prior experience in System Engineering and IT infrastructure.
  • ITIL Certification.
  • SAFe Certification.
  • Vendor specific hardware and software certifications.

Salary Range: $87,600 USD - $131,400 USD

Salary Range 2: $108,600 USD - $163,000 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
