Northrop Grumman's Enterprise Services is seeking a VDI Systems Administrator to support the GBSD Roy, UT location. Learn more about the GBSD program here. What You'll Get To Do: • Recommends and implements system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading / patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management • Apply technical skills and experience in managing selected servers and numerous workstations supporting highly skilled engineers that are remote and local • Designs, tests, and implements secure operating systems, services, and computing environments • Ensures data integrity by evaluating, proposing, implementing and managing software and hardware solutions • Analyzes customer needs and determines equipment/software and system requirements • Develops and documents technical processes and procedures as needed • Recommends and implements system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration • Ensures systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with approved security policies and practices outlined in the system security plan • Provide services as backup administrator to various programs located both remote and local • Develop customized solutions to address customer/user problems • Prepare or assist in the preparation of security documentation for submission to regulatory agencies • Works both under general direction and within a team environment • Leads, coordinates and mentors sys admin teams environment • Leads, coordinates and mentors sys admin teams As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: • Medical, Dental & Vision coverage • 401k • Educational Assistance • Life Insurance • Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions • Paid Time Off • Health & Wellness Resources • Employee Discounts This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Qualifications:

Job Qualifications: You'll Bring These Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related degree and 0 years of experience in a technical position supporting Windows server environments. An additional 4 years of directly applicable experience may be considered in lieu of the completed degree. • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining server hardware and associated equipment • Must be able to lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds • Security+ CE certification required or able to be attained within first 6 months of onboarding • ship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 5 years)

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: • Knowledge of Classified Environment system controls • Knowledge of JAFAN, NISPOM (Chapter 8) and/or DCID 6/3-ICD 503 information system requirements • VMWare Horizon or Citrix VDI deployment experience • Windows 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2019 experience Understanding of basic networking; Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto experience • Cross-platform experience (i.e., more than one: Windows, Linux, VMWare, Acropolis, etc.) • Creation and deployment of system images in an enterprise environment, use of PowerShell, Ansible, Python scripting • Experience with C&A processes and CM processes • General knowledge of storage technologies such as storage area network or network-attached storage • Certification in related OS (Windows, Red Hat Linux) Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
