Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer to join the team. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

What You Will Get to Do:

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

What you will get to do:

Responsible for cross-coordination of architecture modeling and MBSE products with digital engineering design • Ensures compatibility and cohesiveness of digital design tools (CAD, etc.) and architecture modeling. Supports integrated deliveries and coordinates across Design IPTs for common implementation and approach. • Support MBSE strategy and implementation over the various Architecture Model • Support oversight of the Architecture Model customer deliveries • Implement and enforce model governance at all levels of the architecture • Coordinate with sub-integrated product architecture teams for compliance with contractual SOW and established program model governance • Coordinate with integrated product teams for establishing content within the architecture • Coordinate across multiple integrated product teams to ensure development of an integrated GBSD architecture model • Define and execute model integration processes, tools, and technique.

Qualifications:

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 5+ years of experience OR 3 years with a Masters for Principal Cyber Systems Engineer(T3)
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and 9 years experience, Masters with 7 years experience or a PhD with 4 years of experience for Sr. Principal Cyber Systems Engineer(T4)
  • An active DoD Top Secret clearance with an investigation in the past 5 years
  • Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), tools, techniques and concepts
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • An active DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Excellent Communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with cyber-security, Anti-Tamper, or Program Protection (DODI 5000.83)
  • 1-2 years' experience with Model Based Systems Engineering CAMEO tool
  • Experience with DoDAF standards and methods
  • Experience with DOORS requirements management
  • Experience with large systems
  • Experience with digital design toolsets
