Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Information Systems Project Manager to work in our IT Project Management team supporting the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Program. This position will be located in Roy, UT; a minimal remote work arrangement may be considered. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services, an organization of highly skilled and diverse individuals responsible for providing information technology solutions and services across Northrop Grumman, and driving superior business performance through a robust, secure, cost-effective IT infrastructure which enables collaboration and strategic business partnering to foster innovation and technology. The selected candidate will serve as a Sr. Project Manager and will provide leadership and overall direction to the assigned project team and all project requirements. The selected candidate will also serve as the customer liaison for project leadership and will manage all scheduling, change management, risk management, and cost management requirements for the assigned project, while also being responsible for any optimization or other remediation work assigned by the Project Management team lead. Additional roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Manage and track status of projects, metrics, financial budgets, and EACs; manage schedules and prepare status reports; and ensure project remediation and ongoing compliance goals are met. Create, review, and finalize the project Statement of Work. Assist the project management leadership team in assessing, documenting, and tracking of all new assigned project requirements. Prepare project execution plans and identify the appropriate technical and business resources required. Participate proactively in developing and maintaining standards, tools, and best practices. Lead and direct the assigned project team to meet cost, schedule, and technical objectives. Adopt a positive attitude about Agile processes, ensure tasks are flowing from one phase to the next, and facilitate the basics of the process (i.e. transparency, project information is current, impediments are being eliminated). Maintain an in-depth knowledge of customer's lifecycles, standards, and supporting processes and practices. Develop customer relationships and cultivate customer intimacy. Basic Qualifications:Associate's degree with 11 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience, or Master's degree with 7 years of experience; a High School diploma or equivalent and 13 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree. Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance with an adjudication or periodic reinvestigation date within the last 5 years; must be able to maintain the required security clearance as a condition of continued employment Must be able to obtain Special Access Programs (SAP/SAR) within a period of time as determined by customer and/or program requirements; must be able to maintain SAP/SAR as a condition of continued employment. Experience with traditional project management skills: managing budget, scheduling, estimating, etc. Problem solving skills with integrated team including but not exclusive to the program manager, functional managers, and customers. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have experience in communicating with various levels of leadership. Experience leading and managing multiple concurrent and complex project assignments. Preferred Qualifications:Experience with project management tools and presenting project data such as status, risk, and deliverables to key stakeholders. Experience leading and managing IT related projects in an Agile environment. Experience using tools that support agile processes such as JIRA and Confluence. Experience with Scaled Agile Framework and working as a part of an Agile Development (Scrum) Team. Experience with multiple Agile teams in different organizations. PMP certification. Agile or SCRUM certification. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
