As an Allowance Adoption Consultant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to assigned Financial Institutions who are leveraging the nCino ALLL/CECL product. You will be responsible for assisting our customers in adopting nCino as their primary source for calculating their allowance today, as well as preparing for CECL. Additional responsibilities include learning the nCino Portfolio Analytics platform, general banking knowledge, and the ins and outs of FASB regulation.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively work with assigned customers to adopt nCino as primary source for ALLL
  • Proactively engage customers to create CECL adoption roadmaps, and track progress and key milestones together with customers
  • Educate customers on questions related to preparing for CECL and assist customers in ensuring that their data completeness and quality is a state that will allow them to be successful in complying with CECL
  • Assist customers in creating various segmentation profiles across multiple base loss rate methodologies
  • Communicate and coordinate with Managed Services when additional CECL preparation work (e.g. audit preparation, methodology selection, and consultative services) is needed
  • Communicate customer product feedback to our Product Development team
  • Collaborate with Data Support Engineering team to resolve customer data reconciliation issues

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree, or combination of experience, education, and extraordinary performance
  • Basic understanding of ALLL and CECL regulation
  • Demonstrated dedication to customer service, customer satisfaction, and quality technical case work
  • Excellent problem solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Solid understanding of project management principles
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle
  • Demonstrated ability to adhere to deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion

Desired:

  • Minimum 1 year experience supporting or implementing nCino platform
  • ALLL/CECL expertise
  • SQL/SOQL or related database experience
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting
