Job Title: Mining Core TechnicianLocation: Copperton, UTDuration: Contract, 6+ months, possible extensionPay rate: $15-$18/Hr DOESchedule: Day shift 6:00am- 2:30pm/Monday - FridayJob Responsibilities:Position is working with a team for above ground explorationDriving core truck into pit and picking up core and delivering it to the Core warehouseCore cutting using NTT core sawAssist with unloading the crated core from the core transport truckLoadingtriple-tubedcore from the crates to the logging benchesBuilding core boxesBoxingtriple-tubedcore after it has been loggedPalletizing boxed coreThe Technician will support logging through the following:Opening triple tubesWashing corePhotographing drill coreMoving palletized core to and from the warehouseJob Requirements:High School Diploma is requiredClean driving record0-3 years experienceWill consider entry level, field technicians and individuals with good mechanical aptitude open for working out at the mine.If have basic geologic work experience including mapping, preferably in a mining application be a plus.MSHA certification is a plusBe a part of the ConsultNet difference.
