SUMMARY This position develops and manages high-level technical design plans and implementation within the business delivery technical IT architecture

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Develop high-level planning, design, optimization, research, analysis, proposals, and solution delivery that align with the business and technology strategies Develop strategies and direction for systems and solutions that use current and emerging technologies Translate business requirements into architecture or process designs Evaluate and recommend new products and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies for enterprise application Monitor systems performance, ensure capacity planning is performed and is proactive in assessing and providing recommendations for improvement and perform as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor and change agent Processes significant business knowledge with one or more concentrated areas of technical expertise Work across several business areas as a visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction of future projects Develop and maintains design plan for technical IT architecture Collaborate, define and maintain effective and efficient designs to optimize performance Play a lead role in the evaluation of third-party software applications and components targeted for possible integration into the overall solution, including strategic applications, tools and utilities

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Provides direction, guidance and definition of enterprise's architecture to effectively support the corporate business strategy Teaches others the technical and functional knowledge and skills needed to achieve results at the optimum level of performance May perform a leadership role as Project Leader for special enterprise-wide assignments Provide advanced multi-disciplinary knowledge, skills and experience in technical architecture and design Plan and recommend hardware, systems management, software and architecture Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION Bachelor's degree Information Technology, computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience. Master's degree Related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE Ten (10) years or more experience 10-12 years relevant IT experience Ten (10) years or more experience working with Enterprise Architecture standards, processes & tools including IT Architecture standards, technology trends Ten (10) years or more experience in Information/Data Design, construction, Implementation and Maintenance Ten (10) years or more experience using analytical skills, tools and techniques to investigate information and to draw conclusions Ten (10) years or more experience proven experience in diagnosing, isolating/resolving complex issues, recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems Ten (10) years or more experience Strong experience with systems integration processes, methodology and tools

SKILLS Strong verbal and written communication skills. Communicates information and ideas to varying audiences and in multiple written styles (persuasive, informative, narrative) in order to negotiate/gain access to information and records Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors). Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment. Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills. Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

KNOWLEDGE Demonstrates leading edge knowledge of concepts and theories in own discipline; advanced level. Understands integration points and interfaces/ensures that the next generation technology allows for seamless integration; advanced level. Applies leading edge knowledge to drive strategic direction of the function and the business in partnership with senior leaders; advanced level.

LICENSES Other Relevant technical certification (Upon Hire, preferred).
