Technical Program Manager Intern
Location: Salt Lake City, UTA Technical Program Manager Intern works as an integrated part of the NICE CEA Cloud Analytics software engineering team with specific focus on delivering software features to the marketplace. In this role, a person will learn how to drive, plan and standardize software development activities from concept to completion and will assist in end-to-end agile project management. This position will be mentored by our expert Program Manager for the duration of the internship.As a Technical Programduct Manager Intern, a Typical Day Might Include the Following:- Working with the teams to plan, manage and update product work plans, deliverables and timetables as part of the software development life cycle
- Assisting with agile grooming and the software development processes
- Aggregating and distilling insights from artifacts of the agile process and creating action items to drive continuous improvement
- Working with engineering teams to identify impediments and resource conflicts and help facilitate course corrections
- Collecting and analyzing data from reporting tools to provide insights, status updates and periodically present results to management
- Completion of upper-level courses in Computer Science, Project Management or similar program; or equivalent work experience or training
- Ability to learn independently and from others
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members and peers abroad
- Experience with reporting and presentation tools such as JIRA, PPT, Excel
- Experience with agile and scrum practices and ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives
- Experience as a Scrum Master
- Experience with Analytics, Big Data or Business Intelligence
