Job Title: Civil/Structural EngineerLocation: Salt Lake City, UT or fully remote USADuration: Contract-to-Direct hire Pay Range: $40-60/hr DOE Job Responsibilities:Responsible for the engineering design support of small to large heavy industrial projects (Oil, Gas, Mining, Energy, Petrochemical, Material Handling, etc.).The candidate will be capable of committing to and maintaining to a project timeline.The ability to document and track project tasks and related design documents is required (strong organizational skills).Job Requirements:Minimum BS Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an Accredited Institution. 1-20+ years of engineering experience in an Industrial engineering setting is a plus. Ability to read/interpret specifications and drawings is required.Good interpersonal and customer relations skills are essential. Must be a self-starter and have ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and have the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks.Must be familiar in the use of CAD systems and have PC proficiency using MS office.Knowledge of applicable codes used for design, machining, fabrication and assembly techniques is also required.Experience in structural design software; RAM Steel, RISA, STAAD, and FEA tools a plus.Be a part of the ConsultNet difference.
