Job Description: Apex Systems, the 2nd largest IT staffing / consulting agency in the nation is looking for a REMOTE (or on-site) Data Engineer to join one of our banking clients based in the Salt Lake City area! This is a 1 year contract-to-hire position with intention to convert. This individual will be supporting a data lake environment and using IBM DataStage for ETL support. The requirements for this role are as follows:

IBM DataStage
Python (or Java)
Linux scripting (or UNIX scripting)
Bachelor's Degree
Experience with ETL development, SQL, Big Data distributed systems
