Apply Today!Job Summary and QualificationsAs an EEG Technician at our facility you will be will be joining a team that is dedicated to serving others in need and also supporting one another. In this important role:
You will be responsible for providing quality electro-neurodiagnostic test services to inpatients and outpatients, neonate to adult, as ordered by a physician.
You will perform EEG’s, ambulatory EEG’s, telephone transmission EEG’s, and multiple sleep latency EEG’s. .
You will be responsible for recording electrical activity of the patient’s brain to study epilepsy, convulsive disorders, and localizing lesions in the cerebrum.
You will perform Polysomnology testing including BIPAP/CPAP trials.
You will perform various clerical duties.
You will participate in performance improvement and continuous quality (CQI) improvement activities.
What qualifications you will need:
Registry eligible or Registered by ASET preferred
Experience in EEG and/or Polysomnology
Must have good verbal and written communication skills; will cross train to provide Cardiology testing
Computer knowledge and keyboarding skills required.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
