Job Description
Merkle is seeking a Manager, Business Analytics. Candidates are expected to use their passion for data/analytics and thought leadership to develop innovative ways of improving site tracking and performance.
Candidates must also possess a thorough understanding of digital measurement principles ranging from implementation strategies, digital analysis, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of the major web analytics solutions such as Adobe Analytics, or Google Analytics.
The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, team-oriented and skilled at solving problems and answering questions using data and analysis.
Responsibilities:- Interacts with customers to define requirements and identify necessary modifications
- Communicates clearly with the team and management to define & achieve goals
- Champion relationships with business teams by being proactive, displaying a detailed understanding of the business processes, and recommending innovative solutions
- Project Management skills and experience in working in an Agile environment, knowledge of tools such as JIRA
- Partners with cross-functional teams to innovate customer-focused solutions
- Ability and preference to work in a constantly evolving and less defined business environment
- Become an expert in integrating cloud products (Adobe Analytics) and the methods by which they can be used to effectively to optimize online businesses
- Gain an in-depth knowledge of a client's website architecture, online business model, and online marketing strategy
- Gather, document and help form/guide client business requirements, key performance indicators and other functional and/or technical requirements
- Identify gaps, highlight risks and document feedback or recommendations basis your assessments in standard artifacts with best-in class quality
- Technical writing and PowerPoint presentation creation
- 4 years’ experience working in web analytics or a related field
- Previous experience working with Adobe Analytics or similar tools, tag management systems and data layers
- Solid grasp of online marketing, HTML and web protocols
- Intermediate-to-advanced JavaScript skills
- Good interpersonal, presentation, and soft skills – both verbal and written
- Work and collaborate with other project peers, technical experts, project managers and Client/Implementation Partners
- Create and/or leverage strong processes and standardized templates to deliver better quality and timely delivery
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of industry experience as a client-facing consultant, with strong experience in Adobe Analytics implementations & understanding in UI technologies like JQuery, Java Script, HTML 5, CSS
- Solid experience in problem analysis and resolution of technical problems.
- Ability to handle clients professionally during all interfaces
- Experience presenting in front of various Client-side audiences
- Must be self-motivated, responsive, professional and dedicated to customer success
- Possess an innovative, problem-solving, and solutions-oriented mindset
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, be a team player, and manage change effectively
- Experience in Adobe Analytics Implementations and in a client-facing role
- Good understanding of integration with other Adobe DX solutions – Commerce, Campaign, Target, Audience Manager etc. would be a plus
- Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
