Keeping healthcare healthy can be as fun as it is rewarding.Your role: As a Mid-level Software Engineer at CHG Healthcare Services, Inc., you will be responsible for building customer-facing applications and features for our client digital portal. You'll develop high-quality software using solid architecture design and engineering best-practices in an agile environment. You'll have a dedicated leader focused on your individual growth and development and will work on a collaborative engineering team with opportunities to share mentoring and coaching. Our primary programming language is JavaScript, with a Node.js backend and Vue.js for the frontend. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who can own development and testing for their teams and thrive in a highly collaborative environment. Your qualifications: Your Qualifications:- BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred
- 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
- Proficiency in one or more modern scripting language (JavaScript)
- Proficiency in one or more modern application framework (Vue.js, Node.js, React)
- Experience with cloud technologies and DevOps (AWS, Kubernetes)
- Experience designing and building microservices and RESTful APIs
- Experience with DevOps, and CI/CD
- Passionate about automated testing and quality assurance
- Able to work independently on assigned tasks, and within a collaborative team-oriented environment using sound judgment in decision making.
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, including good technical writing and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to mentor more junior team members
