- Application development in Python, preferably both Python 2 and Python 3
- Experience with Linux platforms
- Programming skills in any of the following: Python and Golang (highly desired)
- Experience in at least 2 of the following areas:
- Virtualization platforms (especially QEMU/KVM) and virtual networking concepts
- Knowledge of SQL and database platforms
- Building and consuming RESTful APIs and gRPC/protobuf interfaces
- ELK stack: Deploying, configuring, and maintaining Elasticsearch clusters; and creating Kibana visualizations.
- DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins a plus
- Google Cloud Platform and/or AWS cloud platforms
- Windows driver development and/or knowledge of Windows internals
- 2-3 years of software development experience
- Strong Python development is a MUST
- In-depth understanding of object oriented programming and concepts
- Understanding of development on Linux is required
- Experience with Docker/containerization is a plus
- Google Cloud experience a plus
- Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
