Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will use basic knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture.Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. Gaining competence in own area and acquiring a higher level understanding of role, processes and procedures. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain the AI solutions and infrastructure for OPERA's suite of products
Develop end-to-end AI pipelines and integrate the solutions with existing products
Write efficient, maintainable, and testable code
Facilitate cross-functional communication of AI solution in the Hospitality domain
Conduct continuous, domain-relevant research for data-driven Hospitality use-cases and tooling’s within Oracle
Actively engage in algorithmic discussions
May provide guidance, assistance, and technical leadership to junior-level software engineers on more complex/large projects
Requires excellent written and oral communication skills as well as relationship building competencies
Should be comfortable working independently, as well as being an efficient collaborator with other team members
Qualifications:2 years of experience working in enterprise software design & development
Solid programming skills in object-oriented languages (preferably Java), and experience with scripting languages such as Python
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
Skills:Required:
o Python (intermediate experience)o Machine Learning algorithms and frameworks (e.g. scikit-learn, keras, TensorFlow) (intermediate experience)o Java EE Full-Stack Developmento SOAP / REST web serviceso RDBMS: SQL and PL/SQLNice to have:Experience with building AI/Data pipelines
