Sr. Infrastructure/ Azure Cloud Engineer (remote) Anywhere, US Direct Hire Salary Target: $110K - $140K + Bonus Job Description: Our client is a global enterprise that is kicking off an LARGE enterprise infrastructure transformation project. With that, they are looking for a talented Sr. Infrastructure/Cloud Engineer to configure, deploy, and integrate on-premise servers infrastructure and Cloud technologies including IaaS, DaaS, SaaS, & PaaS. You will also be configuring, deploying, and supporting Windows Servers, VMware servers, Linux systems, and SQL database systems so extensive experience with initiating, executing, and supporting IT activities related to the data centers, Cloud, storage, backup, database, and identity management is key! Required Skills:- 7+ years experience in an enterprise infrastructure role supporting data centers, Servers, virtualization, Storage, Backup & Disaster Recovery, Database, and security solutions
- 5+ years supporting Cloud-native services infrastructure architecture, preferably in Azure
- On premise experience - 70% on prem/ 30% in Azure
- Expertise in Active Directory/Azure Active Directory and other identity management solutions
- Experience with Cloud services in IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and DaaS and upcoming trends in the Cloud space
- Expertise on SAN, NAS, and DAS storage solutions
- Tuning experience of Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and MS SQL Server
- Infrastructure and Cloud automation technologies that enable CI/CD, HA, load balancing, and "self-service
- Strong understanding of DevOps tools and scripting languages
- Proficient with the best practices of containerization and reusable base images
- Highly adept in real-time monitoring and alerting of servers and services deployed in Azure, AWS, and on-premise (CloudWatch, Solarwinds, )
- Experience in the change management process
- West Coast or Mountain Standard timezone located
- Experience running disaster recovery tools is a plus
- Experience supporting Citrix environment is a plus
- ERP (SAP Hana) knowledge and/or experience is a plus
- AWS or Azure certifications
- Certifications with VMware, Microsoft, AD, SQL, Linux, ITIL, or Security
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with equivalent experience
