For Victorian based employees, the compliance date is 26 November 2021.All other global Boeing locations do not have a vaccination requirement at this time.The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level Production Control Tool Coordinator our Tool Services Analyst team in satisfying manufacturing requirements for non-production materials, tool and shop supplies. You will work in providing high impact, creative solutions to complex technical problems. You will work both independently and as part of a team environment.As a Production Control Tool Coordinator, you will assesses manufacturing requirements and verifies customer requests. Coordinate with support organizations to resolve manufacturing issues. Work with contract administrators to develop and maintain procurement specifications and standards. Provide guidance and improvement suggestions to outside suppliers and other analysts. Participates in the analysis and research of new technology to provide state of the art cost-effective products. Gathers manufacturing and product information to develop and recommend solutions to manufacturing requirements. Investigates changes in manufacturing requirements and support emergent requests. Analyzes, procures and oversees procurement processes for manufacturing tool services products and services. Explores all possible options to resolve potential impacts to budget and manufacturing schedules. Supports the evaluation of outside supplier performance and verification of compliance with procedures and contract specifications. Participates in the development and management of overhead and capital budgets for the acquisition and inventory of tool services products. Reviews on-hand inventory and coordinates re-distribution. Participates in the plans for the removal of obsolete inventory. Works under limited supervision.Primary Responsibilities :Support manufacturing and the fabrication of Boeing airplane parts by procuring non-flyaway materials, tools, shop supplies and services by using the ordering and inventory systems i.e. Ariba and Cribmaster 10.

Collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources

Engage with shop personnel and analyzes recommended solutions for process requirements.

Represent Boeing as a Tool Coordinator SME.

Interact with Procurement Agents/Suppliers on a daily bases working one on one to resolve any issues.

Maintain accurate inventory and set min/max level to ensure shop is supported.

Use skills and ability to work with sensitive information, safeguarding confidential information and working with it dispassionately.

Use skill and ability to ensure manufacturing, procurement, and regulatory compliance i.e. Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevention, Hazardous Material Control, and Supplier Contact.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the site in Salt Lake City, UT.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) :High School or Equivalent

1 or more years of experience in procurement and inventory management.

1 or more years of experience manufacturing and production control.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) :Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical personnel at all organization levels including suppliers and customers.

Experience in a Lean Manufacturing Techniques and Supply Chain Management.

Demonstrated leadership for driving issue resolution and mitigating technical risk.

Experience in shop manufacturing processes.

Complete knowledge and experience with serialize tools used for measurement in detail and assembly manufacturing
