We are currently seeking a full-time Operational Accountant!
Operational Accountants provide services to AMCs clients, including auditing, budgeting, and other financial management tasks.
Responsibilities include:
Manage W-9s with third party vendors
Enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and procedures
Complete and coordinate annual audits
Verify escrow taxes, insurance, and process clients monthly mortgage and other expenses
Perform monthly bank reconciliations, financials, prelims, and final process approvals
Conduct monthly and quarterly audits
Prepare, review, and sign draws
Communicate explanations on balance sheet items with clients
Assist operations with AP processes and questions
Requirements:
At least one year of prior accounting experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills
Ability to maintain organization
Strong attention to detail and adept in mathematics
Ability to maintain positive working relationship with internal and external points of contact
Prior property management financial accounting experience preferred but not required.
