Looking for a talented artist to assemble and/or paint miniatures for wargames. A working pair is preferred (such as parent/child or a couple) but a solo works too. This is fine detail work with complex instructions. This is a part-time or full-time position. This is work-at home. You'll meet at the studio every week to turn in your projects and pick up new ones.

Looking for:
1) non-smoker
2) reliable work history (held a full-time job at least one year at some point in time)
3) familiar with miniatures battles games OR background in a related field of art (former is a big plus)
4) lives within 10 minutes of Sandy, Utah (the closer the better) preferred. You will complete your Jedi training with a painting Master.
5) you own a working printer.
6) you own a reliable car.
What we value:

6) Tattoos preferred (you have art on your body!)
What we really need right now is a wargames hobbyist to walk in and start assembling and/or painting figures. Being able to do both is a huge plus. We have PLENTY of work to do. It's super flexible and creative work.

Once you have that you will contact Shawn via email with a short cover letter that addresses the Looking For items above. Do not call. Resume helps but is not necessary. Important: please put "Painter Needed- Your First+Last Name" as the subject line. Or "Assembler Needed- Your First/Last Name". This also serves a test to see if you can read and follow instructions, which is hugely important to what we do.
College students need not apply unless you are less than half-time or will graduate soon.
We are also looking for volunteers/interns who may want to learn the craft. If you don't have the skill set needed, we are willing to train you if you are willing to volunteer your time. An apprentice-ship takes 8-30 hours.
PS- under no circumstance during the process should you divulge information related to protected class such as race, gender, age, religion, marital status, sexual orientation etc. We are only interested in you as it relates to performance of the job.
I would accept any (any) sort of couple as long as you two have lived together for at least a few years. In a parent/child relationship the child would need to be 16+. Between you, the entire process of assembly and painting needs to be represented.
This is not optional. Public transportation will not work. A bike will not work. Your room-mate's car will not work. You (yourself) must own a good car in good condition. You can't miss appointments because your car is broken down.
