Job Title: Mechanical Designer Location: Salt Lake City, UT Duration: Contract 3 months+ Pay range: $30-50/hr DOE Job responsibilities: Create complex Mechanical and Piping drawing packages, process piping systems, P&ID's and mechanical assemblies.Use AutoCAD software to prepare and/or revise drawings, sketches and layouts of single units, parts, or components.Job Requirements:Associates degree or technical school training in Computer Aided Design and Computer Drafting. 5+ years of experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Plant 3D, P&ID and any other 3D software. Industrial plant layout experience and ability to do field site walkdowns. Understanding of Piping & Instrument Diagram (P&ID's) for a process system.Ability to read and comprehend piping drawings.Knowledge of appropriate use of pipe fittings and materials in industrial applications.Ability to identify pipe components and symbols required to create piping drawings.
