Responsibilities:

Give suburb customer service and assistance in managing the daily workings of the store.
Greet and acknowledge customers as they enter the store and approach the the checkout counter.
Study the products sold know where they are at and be able to communicate effectively with patrons if they have questions or comments
Effectively operate point of sale system/cash register
Know store layout to assist customers in their selection of products and be able to answer customer questions.
Be knowledgeable and familiar with the inventory located in the store
Be able to refer customers to related businesses if the store is out of stock
Stock merchandise and price inventory as needed.
List of any out of stock inventory
Add inventory to P.O.S. system when it arrives or if it was missed.
Help maintain a neat, clean, organized store, which includes sweeping, dusting, straightening of merchandise on store fixtures and displays.
Be able to lift 30 pounds.
Create creative window displays monthly or relating to a holiday.
Accepting of customers, friends and family who are LGBTQ+ and diverse personalities.
High degree empathy and social skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Prior stockroom or warehouse experience preferred.
3 to 4 hour shifts will be Monday - Saturday 11am - 7:00pm
Once or twice a month 7pm - 1am on Friday or Saturday or Sunday 12pm - 4pm for special events.
Flexible hours for college or other obligations.
Compensation: $13/hour
