Reporting to the General Sales Manager, the Merchandising Manager is responsible for managing a group of Merchandisers that are accountable for in store execution through merchandising product to the shelf, displays, and cold equipment in large format stores. You will also manage the coaching and development of your team, as well as labor hours within a set budget.
RESPONSIBILITIESAreas that play to your strengthsAll the responsibilities we'll trust you with:- MANAGING EXPECTATIONSEstablish set Merchandising routes for each employee to follow weeklyManage labor hours within the specified budgetMaintain regular and ongoing communications with our retail partners/decision makers to implement national/local programming
- LEADING EXCELLENCEEnsure 3 in-store evaluations are completed per week. The primary purpose of the in-store evaluation is to train and evaluate the performance of the Merchandiser and the executional conditions of your marketConduct bimonthly Merchandiser meetings/workshops in groups and 1 on 1 to improve executional expertise and recognize/reward results
- ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERWork collaboratively across the organization, share best practices and be a major contributor/leader among peer groupBuild a diverse organization that reflects the marketplace, exemplifies Red Bull's values, and inspires through leadershipEnsure the Merchandising team understands and follows Company standards and operating procedure
- 2+ years of experience in Direct Store Delivery or Consumer Packaged Goods
- Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
- Preferred understanding of Encompass data system and other IT systems
- Valid Driver's License with a clean motor vehicle record and meet DOT driving standards
- Obtainment of DOT Medical card
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays
