Principal Big Data Engineer Salt Lake City, UT Direct Hire Salary: $150K plus bonus / stocks

Job Description: Our client is searching for a Principal Big Data Engineer with strong experience in Data Lakes / Warehouses, AWS cloud solutions like Lambdas, Firehose, and Kinesis Streams. In this role you will be focused on data and structures from a variety of methods, improving and managing data streams, refinery code, SQL Processes, etc. The ideal candidate will also have experience with modern data solutions like Snowflake

Required Skills:

8+ years of object-oriented software development experience
Experience working in a Big Data environment
5+ years AWS experience
Experience with data modeling & warehousing
Experience with microservices in the cloud and architectural patterns/design
CS degree or current MCPD certification

Bonus/Soft Skills:

Test automation tools
Agile
CI/CD
AWS Certifications
