Job Title: Software Engineer Location: Sandy, UT Duration: Contract-to-hire, long-term Pay range: $43-$60/hr DOE Job Responsibilities: The Software Engineer will program in C# to develop software for student databases and training management software. The Software Engineer will also use high-end tools to create and maintain software to simulate real-life training situations for a variety of simulated equipment and will participate in all phases of the software development life cycle from specification and design through delivery and maintenance. The development will include work with records management, graphical user interfaces, simulated equipment functions, integrated curriculum development, and more. Job Requirements: 2 or more years of software engineering experience BS in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering or other relevant field (applicants with a significant amount of software engineering experience but without a relevant degree will still be considered) Experience in Windows application development Experience with Unity 3D or Unreal Engine Real time gaming engine experience C# programming skills Desired Qualifications: Work on large, complex projects with network communication between components MongoDB or similar database platform .Net Core Cross-Platform Microsoft Azure CloudC Programming Asp.Net Blazor Server Asp.Net WebAPI Linux OS Unity3D WPF and data binding experience in Visual Studio Shaders Equipment or vehicle simulation Physics engines TFS or other version control and project management systemsBe a part of the ConsultNet difference.
