Job Title: Civil Drafter/DesignerLocation: South Ogden, UtahDuration: Contract-to-Hire, long-termPay range: $17-$27/hr DOEJob Responsibilities:Prepare layouts, drawings, and designs according to Engineering and Surveying specifications and engineer/surveyor redlines using Autodesk Civil 3D software.Creates Alignments, Surfaces, Profiles, Pipe Networks, Intersections and Corridors, Plan and Profile Sheets, Subdivision platsRetrieve information from files, edit and produce hard copies and update drawings/designs.Reviews civil drawings and documentation resolves undefined details.Interface with clients and other design engineers via e-mail and telephone to obtain project files and coordinate deliverables.Job Requirements:Associate degree or technical college or combination of education and experience.2+ years of Civil/Survey drafting experienceAutodesk Civil 3D, knowledge required, Xref and Data Shortcuts experience a plus.Drafting standards, basic math skills, standard measurement and using engineers and architect's scales.Ability and willingness to learn new software quickly.
