Sol Foods Supermarket & Deli, located in Zion Canyon, is looking for a morning Prep Cook the shift hours are 9:00am to 5:00 pm.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
Accurately follows recipe instructions written or verbal.
Makes daily decisions to produce the required quantity and variety of products to carry the days business.
Cooks or prepares products from raw, blended, dry and/or frozen products.
Prepare foods for cooking.
Assist in hot food production.
Maintain and replenish Salad Bar.
Preparing deli offerings, including sandwiches, wraps, salads and ready to-go meals.
Help implement new menu ideas and production procedures to help company move forward with future growth and business.
HERES WHAT YOU NEED TO BE A PREP COOK:
3 months restaurant experience proffered
Minimum age18 years old.
Knowledge of weights, measurements, volume and cooking procedures.
Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment and produce large quantities of food with consistency and professionalism.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs.
Must: be friendly, self-motivated, have a good eye for detail, work productively alone as well as a highly contributing team member, able to meet physical demands, have a strong work ethic including an outstanding record of reliability.
