TUFF SHED® is looking to partner with hard working independent contractors, looking to add more projects to their schedule.
TUFF SHED® is an industry leader and is currently contracting with qualified, experienced framers, rough carpenters, and other like-minded professionals. These are not employee positions, but independent contractor construction projects. As a subcontracted installer, you'll be responsible for transporting the building kits, materials, and structures to customer work sites where they will be assembled and installed. In most cases, you will be responsible for assembling the building on the customer's property.
The building kits are prefabricated in our local factories, and TUFF SHED® will provide all the materials needed to complete the building. With our state of the art prefabrication process, the assembly at the customer site is very straightforward. Typically, an installation will only take a few hours.
As an independent contractor, you must be able to sign a services contract and have all necessary licenses, certificates, tools, equipment, supplies, vehicles, trailers and insurances necessary to perform these services. As you will be assembling, building and/or installing our products on our customer's property, for security purposes, you will need to successfully pass a criminal background before we can contract with you. You will also be required to subcontract business as a legal entity such as a corporation or limited liability company. Our agreement also requires that subcontractors maintain general liability of $2 million, commercial auto insurance at $1 million, and workers comp insurances (where required by law).
