Site/Civil CAD Drafter
Plan production, perform design calculations, and assist with a variety of site/civil land development engineering projects. Our Site/Civil CAD Drafter will create site layout, utility routing, sanitary/storm sewer design, roadways, grading/earthwork, erosion control, stormwater management plans and work with state and municipal agencies for required permitting.
Responsibilities:
Provide design support to Engineers and Project Managers
Provide final CAD prints for design based on Engineering notes, sketches, and/or details
Create completed design packets for submission
Update records, paper and electronic files, and perform other administrative duties as required
Good oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and state agencies
Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and identify and solve problems in a timely manner
Read and interpret engineering red lines and create construction drawings
Able to interpret GIS and survey data
Requirements:
2-year degree in a related discipline, technical school or equivalent work experience
AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – ability to quickly learn other internal and external programs as required
Organized and detail oriented, self-motivated
