Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Burlington, Massachusetts. As a Sr. Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial operations, including general ledger management, month-end close, journal entries, and year-end filings, among other responsibilities. This role provides an excellent opportunity to apply your skills in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations, while utilizing various software tools like NetSuite, and Sage Intacct.Responsibilities: Carry out effective general ledger management Contribute to the execution of month-end close processes Prepare and manage journal entries Handle tax and year-end filings efficiently Use Microsoft Excel to perform analytics and make strategic decisions Reconcile account balances and bank statements Use software tools like NetSuite and Sage Intacct for various accounting tasks Provide support to the CFO as required Ensure good communication and strategic decision-making.Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is mandatory. Must have a strong understanding and experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation. Prior experience with Bank Reconciliations is required. Extensive knowledge of General Ledger management is advantageous. Ability to create and manage Journal Entries is necessary. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Month End Close procedures is essential. Familiarity with NetSuite software is beneficial.
