Direct Autobody is seeking an efficient and detail oriented individual to prep vehicles. The candidate will be responsible for cleaning and buffing cars before their return to the customer after the body work has been completed. He or she will assist in overall customer relations by ensuring the customer approves the overall look the vehicle after being serviced. This position requires that the individual maintains harmonious relationships with the factory, dealership customers, employees and the community.

Job Requirements:
- Wash and clean vehicles using hoses, vacuums, wash clothes, and appropriate cleaning materials to bring about the best possible finished product.
- Uses specific techniques to clean and detail vehicles to a high standard.
- Assist other body shop personnel as needed with various tasks.
- Drive cars in and out of body shop.
- Work closely with all personnel within the organization to help foster a positive teamwork environment.
- Buffs cars including buffing out paint or scratch marks for lower level body work.
- Maintain a clean workspace.
- The ability to be thorough and ensure that the final product meets set standards is a must.
- Must be able to perform general manual labor, which at times can be physical demanding
- Have the ability to work in wet conditions, which may also contain one or more of the following: Noise, Vibration, Paint, Dust, Exhaust Fumes, Other hazardous and non-hazardous materials, and potentially extreme heat and/or cold during certain times of the year.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.
- Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred
- Valid Drivers License
