We are a small construction company, looking for a helper. We do a lot of chimney work, and also property renovation and maintanence. We are looking for someone to work with our full time experienced foreman as his helper. He will tell you what to do.
The ideal candidate is a person that is looking for a full time job, and wants to learn trade work over the next few years to set themselves up to make decent money in the construction world, we can teach you if you are teachable.
Job requirements
-Be on time every day ready to work
-have reliable, legal, inspected transportation to get to meeting place to goto job in company truck
-leave your cell phone alone, unless you are on break (930, 12, 230)
-leave your problems and drama at home
-listen to instructions
-do what you are asked
-be able to lift 80+ pounds everyday, for extended periods of time
-dont smoke unless it is on your breaks (930,12,230)
-dont be drug addict/ on suboxone/ a total drunk
-have a decent attitude
-learn to set scaffolding towers, climb ladders, work on roofs, must be comfortable working at heights,
-operating power tools
-mixing mortar, thin set, grout
-lugging materials to stock out properly
-cleaning up jobs, sweeping, shoveling, lugging heavy buckets
-lay flooring, paint walls, mow lawns,
-do what needs to be done
