Family Center of Washington County Early Childhood Program, 5 STAR, nonprofit early education program, is seeking nurturing, creative professionals dedicated to teaching young children. The ideal candidates will participate in all phases of planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate experiences for children ages birth to five years, including work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, and providing education and support services to children with a variety of different needs. The Family Center is a supportive, professional, collaborative work environment and offers a competitive salary.
Desired Qualifications: Early Childhood Assistant Teacher candidates should have a Northern Lights Level I Certificate or Child Development Associate (CDA) required. Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Development or related field preferred. Minimum of one year experience teaching in an early childhood setting, including direct experience providing developmental or support services to children with disabilities or other needs and their families. 37 hours per week.
